Smoky barbecue pork ribs

For melt-in-the-mouth ribs, slow cook them in the oven before grilling them on the barbecue for that delicious smoky flavour.

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C
  2. Line 2 baking trays with non-stick baking paper
  3. Combine Cajun seasoning paprika in a bowl
  4. Sprinkle mixture over pork ribs. Place ribs on trays
  5. Cover with foil. Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Set aside to cool slightly
  6. Combine barbecue sauce, tomato sauce and smoked paprika in a bowl
  7. Brush half the mixture over ribs. Preheat a chargrill or barbecue grill on medium-high
  8. Cook for 3 minutes each side or until lightly charred. Serve with remaining sauce
