Quick and easy, these green beans make a tasty side dish for any week night meal.

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until soft.
  2. Add cumin and cook, stirring, for 30 seconds. Add beans and water. Bring to the boil and cook, covered, for 7 minutes or until water is reduced by half. Remove from heat. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Transfer to a bowl to serve.
