Sesame asparagus with sweet soy dressing

Cooking Vegetarian Sesame asparagus with sweet soy dressing

The tastiest way to serve asparagus.

  1. Cook the asparagus in a steamer basket over a saucepan of boiling water for 4-5 minutes or until bright green and tender crisp (see microwave tip 1).
  2. Meanwhile, place sesame seeds in a small non-stick frying pan over medium heat and cook, stirring, for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from heat (see microwave tip 2).
  3. Combine the soy sauce, water and oil in a screw-top jar and shake until well combined. Arrange asparagus on serving plates. Drizzle with soy dressing and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
