An old -fashioned cocktail gets a trendy twist with the addition of salt and maple syrup.

  1. Combine The Singleton Spey Cascade Single Malt Scotch Whisky, maple syrup, salt and bitters (optional) in a glass.
  2. Add ice and stir until the glass starts to frost up.
  3. Add remaining Scotch whisky and stir for another 10 seconds.
  4. Garnish with an orange peel.
