Combine sweet with savoury with this crispy maple bacon and apple salad.
- Heat a grill on high. Place the bacon on a baking tray lined with foil. Brush the bacon with half the maple syrup. Cook under the grill for 3-4 mins each side or until golden and crisp. Set aside to cool slightly. Tear the bacon into bite-sized pieces.
- Combine the salad leaves, apple, onion, bacon and pecans in a large bowl. Combine the remaining maple syrup, oil, lemon juice and mustard in a bowl. Drizzle over the salad mixture and season to serve.
