For a complete family meal, serve these tasty brussels sprouts with pork chops and mashed potato.

  1. Cook the brussels sprouts in a large saucepan of boiling water for 5 minutes or until just tender. Drain well. Return to the sauce pan.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Add the garlic and anchovies. Cook for 1 minute, stirring, until mixture is aromatic.
  3. Add the garlic mixture, butter, lemon juice and parsley to the brussels sprouts. Toss to coat. Serve with pork chops (cooked over a medium heat for about 4 minutes on each side) and mashed potato.
