This tasty polenta side dish is the perfect accompaniment to our chicken with sauteed mushrooms and thyme recipe.
- Place the water and stock in a large saucepan. Bring to the boil over high heat. Gradually add the polenta in a thin steady stream, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, until well incorporated. Reduce the heat to low and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until the mixture thickens and the polenta is soft. Remove from heat. Add the cream and parmesan and stir until well combined. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately.
