Cooking Vegetarian Garlic balsamic mushrooms with Turkish toast

Flat mushrooms have an intense, robust flavour and a dense, meaty texture which makes them the perfect option for a hearty vegetarian lunch.

  1. Combine garlic and balsamic vinegar. Mix well.
  2. Brush mushroom tops with balsamic mixture. Spray lightly with oil. Place stalk-side up on grill tray.
  3. Preheat grill on high. Grill mushrooms for 4 to 5 minutes or until tender. Transfer to a plate and keep warm. Spray bread with oil. Grill for 2 minutes on each side or until golden.
  4. Arrange mushrooms and bread on serving plates. Sprinkle with parsley.
