Creamy pea puree

Cooking Vegetarian Creamy pea puree

Give frozen peas a chance in this magnificent side!

  1. Cook peas in a saucepan of boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes or until tender. Drain.
  2. Melt butter in same pan over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic. Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until softened. Return peas to pan. Add cream. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until heated through.
  3. Process until almost smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Serve.
