With its deep, robust flavour and unmistakable aroma, coffee is the ultimate winter drink, especially with a hearty tablespoon of liqueur.

  1. Two-thirds fill pre-warmed coffee cups with hot coffee. Pour 1 tablespoon liqueur into each cup. Stir in sugar to taste.
  2. Top with cream. Serve with macaroons.
