Cooking Child Cheese and celery train

Get the kids in the kitchen to make this cheese & celery train.

  1. To make the tracks, cut three 6cm-long, 2cm-wide pieces of licorice. Place on a plate.
  2. To make the carriages, cut three 5cm-long pieces of celery and place, hollow-side up, on the tracks. Fill each celery piece with peanut butter. Top with chopped dried fruit.
  3. To make the engine, cut a 2.5cm-high, 4cm-long, 2cm-wide piece reduced-fat cheddar. Place at the front of the carriages. Top with a 2cm square of reduced-fat cheddar to make the driver's carriage. Use light cream cheese to attach 3 currants on the side of each carriage to make the wheels.
  4. To make the engine wheels, use light cream cheese to attach raisins to the back of the engine and 2 more currants to the front. Use light cream cheese to attach a 5mm-thick, 2cm-long piece of celery at the front of the carriage to make a smoke stack.
