Cooking Vegetarian Fragrant chickpeas

Try a taste of Morocco with these deliciously fragrant chickpeas.

  1. Heat the oil in a large deep frying pan over medium heat. Add onion and cook for 5 mins or until golden. Stir in the garlic, cinnamon, cayenne pepper and turmeric for 30 secs.
  2. Add the chickpeas, stock and sultanas. Bring to a simmer. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 mins. Season to taste. Sprinkle with parsley.
