Detailed step-by-step description of how to cook the dish "Pop-overs". Try it by all means

  1. Whisk together the egg yolks, milk, butter, flour and 1/2 teaspoon of salt in a small bowl until smooth. Set aside for at least 2 hours, to rest.
  2. Preheat oven to 220°C. Grease a pop-over pan (you can substitute with mini muffin or friand pans, if desired).
  3. Crumble the goat's cheese into the batter, then add the chopped thyme.
  4. Whisk the egg whites until soft peaks form, then fold into the batter mixture. Spoon into the lined pans and garnish with the thyme sprigs. Bake in the oven for 15-18 minutes until golden and puffed. Serve warm.
