- Place the combined melon and wine in a large jug. Cover and place in the fridge for 1 hour to chill.
- Transfer the melon mixture to a punch bowl. Add the basil leaves and some ice cubes.
- Divide extra ice cubes among serving glasses. Pour in the melon mixture. Top with dry ginger ale and basil leaves. Serve.
