Orange-scented tea

Cooking Coctails Orange-scented tea

Soothe sore throats and help chase the sniffles away with this spiced herbal tea.

  1. Place tea bags in a teapot. Pour over boiling water and allow to steep for 3 to 4 minutes.
  2. Using a vegetable peeler, peel 4 long strips of rind from each orange. Using a sharp knife, remove white pith from rind.
  3. Place 2 orange rind strips, 1 cinnamon stick and 1 star anise into each 1-cup capacity, heatproof glass. Pour over tea. Set aside for 4 to 5 minutes to infuse flavours. Add honey to taste. Serve.
