To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 350g pkt Vetta Less-Carbs trevelle pasta, 350g tuna steaks, Olive oil spray, 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice , 200g semi-dried tomatoes, rinsed, 1/2 cup roughly chopped continental parsley, Salt & freshly ground pepper .
Ingredients:
- 350g pkt Vetta Less-Carbs trevelle pasta
- 350g tuna steaks
- Olive oil spray
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 200g semi-dried tomatoes, rinsed
- 1/2 cup roughly chopped continental parsley
- Salt & freshly ground pepper
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water until al dente. Drain and return to the pan.
- Meanwhile, heat a chargrill pan or non-stick frying pan over a high heat. Spray both sides of the tuna with oil and cook for 1-2 minutes each side, or to taste. Remove and set aside.
- Combine olive oil, lemon juice, tomatoes and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
- Break the tuna into large pieces and toss through pasta with the tomato mixture. Serve immediately.
