Honey and five-spice pork stir-fry

Sweet and spicy, this stir-fry is the perfect midweek meal. Serve it with a big bowl of rice and let the whole family tuck in.

To make this dish at home by prescription from the author sheff would need: 300g sticky pork ribs, 1 tbsp peanut oil, 115g fresh baby corn, halved lengthways, 1 large red capsicum, sliced, 1 medium yellow capsicum, sliced , 1 bunch broccolini, trimmed, chopped, 6cm piece fresh ginger, peeled, finely grated, 2 tbsp honey , 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, Steamed jasmine rice, to serve.
Ingredients:
- 300g sticky pork ribs
- 1 tbsp peanut oil
- 115g fresh baby corn, halved lengthways
- 1 large red capsicum, sliced
- 1 medium yellow capsicum, sliced
- 1 bunch broccolini, trimmed, chopped
- 6cm piece fresh ginger, peeled, finely grated
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- Steamed jasmine rice, to serve
Instructions
- Remove and discard any bones from pork. Cut pork into 5mm-thick slices.
- Heat oil in a wok over high heat. Swirl to coat. Add corn, capsicum and broccolini. Stir-fry for 6 minutes or until broccolini is just tender. Add ginger. Stir-fry for 1 minute or until fragrant. Add pork, honey, soy and 1 tablespoon cold water. Stir-fry for 2 minutes or until heated through. Serve with rice.
