To make this dish at home by prescription from the author sheff would need: 450g pkt Fantastic Fresh Hokkien Noodles, 2 tbsp vegetable oil, 500g Coles Australian Stir Fry Pork Strips, 1 brown onion, thinly sliced, 1 garlic clove, crushed , 500g pkt Bird’s Eye Stir Fry Cantonese Frozen Vegetables, thawed, 1/4 cup Ayam Hoi Sin sauce, 1 tbsp soy sauce , 2 tsp lemon juice, 2 spring onions, thinly sliced.

Ingredients:

  • 450g pkt Fantastic Fresh Hokkien Noodles 
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil 
  • 500g Coles Australian Stir Fry Pork Strips 
  • 1 brown onion, thinly sliced 
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed 
  • 500g pkt Bird’s Eye Stir Fry Cantonese Frozen Vegetables, thawed 
  • 1/4 cup Ayam Hoi Sin sauce 
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce 
  • 2 tsp lemon juice 
  • 2 spring onions, thinly sliced 

Instructions

  1. Place noodles in large heatproof bowl and cover with boiling water. Set aside for 1 min to soak. Use a fork to loosen and separate the noodles. Drain well.
  2. Meanwhile, heat half the oil in a wok or large deep frying pan over high heat. Stir-fry the pork, in batches, for 2-3 mins or until just cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
  3. Heat the remaining oil in the wok over medium-high heat. Stir-fry the onion for 2 mins or until soft. Add the garlic and vegetables and stir-fry for 2 mins or until just tender. Return pork to wok. Add noodles, hoi sin, soy sauce, lemon juice and 2 tbs water. Stir-fry for 2 mins or until heated through. Divide among serving bowls and sprinkle with spring onion. Serve immediately.
