To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 250g chat potatoes, 8 good-quality chicken or lamb sausages, 3 1/3 cups frozen peas, 1 red onion, sliced, 1 cup mint leaves , 2 tbsp chopped flat-leaf parsley, 1/3 cup olive oil, 2 tbsp lemon juice , 200g marinated feta, drained.

Ingredients:

  • 250g chat potatoes 
  • 8 good-quality chicken or lamb sausages 
  • 3 1/3 cups frozen peas 
  • 1 red onion, sliced 
  • 1 cup mint leaves 
  • 2 tbsp chopped flat-leaf parsley 
  • 1/3 cup olive oil 
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice 
  • 200g marinated feta, drained 

Instructions

  1. Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until tender, then drain. Meanwhile, preheat a grill or barbecue on medium and cook sausages for 5-6 minutes until golden and cooked. Thickly slice sausages and halve potatoes.
  2. Cook peas in boiling salted water for 3 minutes, then drain and refresh in cold water. Place in a large bowl or platter with sausages, potato and remaining ingredients. Season, toss and serve.
