This tasty parsley sauce tastes fantastic with corned beef, pan-fried fish or salmon patties.

Ingredients:
- 30g butter
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- pinch ground nutmeg
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
Instructions
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat until foaming. Add flour and nutmeg. Cook, stirring, for 1 to 2 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk until combined and smooth.
- Cook, stirring, for 3 to 4 minutes or until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat. Stir in parsley.
