To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 1 tsp wasabi paste, 2 tbs soy sauce, 2 tsp finely grated ginger, 2 tbs mirin, 1 tbs yuzu juice or lime juice , 1 tsp sesame oil, 1/4 cup olive oil, 500g sashimi-grade tuna , cut into 1cm cubes , 1 tbs sesame seeds, toasted, 1 avocado, diced, 6 spring onions, finely chopped, Micro herbs and toasted baguette slices, to serve.
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp wasabi paste
- 2 tbs soy sauce
- 2 tsp finely grated ginger
- 2 tbs mirin
- 1 tbs yuzu juice or lime juice
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 500g sashimi-grade tuna , cut into 1cm cubes
- 1 tbs sesame seeds, toasted
- 1 avocado, diced
- 6 spring onions, finely chopped
- Micro herbs and toasted baguette slices, to serve
Instructions
- Combine the wasabi, soy sauce, ginger, mirin, yuzu, sesame oil and olive oil in a bowl. Add the tuna, sesame seeds, avocado and spring onion to the dressing, and stir to combine.
- Serve immediately with herbs and bread.
