Salmon steaks with creamy herbed Philly

To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 1 tbsp oil, 4 salmon fillets , skin on, Salt and pepper, to taste, 250g PHILADELPHIA Light Spreadable Cream Cheese, 2 cloves garlic, crushed , 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh herbs, eg. parsley, chives, dill, Green salad, for serving .

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp oil 
  • 4 salmon fillets , skin on 
  • Salt and pepper, to taste 
  • 250g PHILADELPHIA Light Spreadable Cream Cheese 
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed 
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh herbs, eg. parsley, chives, dill 
  • Green salad, for serving 

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan. Season salmon with salt and pepper then place skin side down and cook for 2 minutes each side or until cooked to your liking. Remove from the pan and rest for 2 minutes.
  2. Combine the PHILLY with the garlic and herbs and mix well.
  3. Place the salmon onto serving plates with the salad, then top each with a dollop of herbed PHILLY. Serve immediately.
