To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 5cm piece fresh ginger, grated, 3 garlic cloves, crushed, 2/3 cup plum sauce, 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 2 tbsp soy sauce , 1 kg pork ribs, 1 cup water, steamed white rice, to serve .
Ingredients:
- 5cm piece fresh ginger, grated
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2/3 cup plum sauce
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 kg pork ribs
- 1 cup water
- steamed white rice, to serve
Instructions
- Combine ginger, garlic, plum sauce, vinegar, and soy sauce in a large bowl. Add pork ribs and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Place ribs onto a roasting rack in a greased baking dish. Pour in water. Bake for 1 hour, basting occasionally. Serve with steamed rice.
