To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 2 tsp Masterfoods sesame seeds, 2 tsp Golden Fields peanut oil, 500g Heart Smart diced pork, 500g broccoli, trimmed, broken into florets, 1 red capsicum, deseeded, chopped , 440g can Home brand pineapple pieces in natural juice, drained, 520g jar Carb Options Thai Sweet Chilli Stir Fry Sauce, Raguletto Less-Carb Pasta or small rice portion, cooked, to serve .

Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp Masterfoods sesame seeds 
  • 2 tsp Golden Fields peanut oil 
  • 500g Heart Smart diced pork 
  • 500g broccoli, trimmed, broken into florets 
  • 1 red capsicum, deseeded, chopped 
  • 440g can Home brand pineapple pieces in natural juice, drained 
  • 520g jar Carb Options Thai Sweet Chilli Stir Fry Sauce 
  • Raguletto Less-Carb Pasta or small rice portion, cooked, to serve 

Instructions

  1. Heat a wok or a large, deep frying pan over a medium-high heat. Add the sesame seeds and toss for 2-3 minutes until golden. Remove and set aside.
  2. Heat half the peanut oil. Stir-fry half the pork for 2-3 minutes or until golden. Transfer to a plate. Cover with foil. Repeat with the remaining pork.
  3. Heat the remaining oil. Add the broccoli, capsicum and 1 tablespoon water. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or just until the broccoli is tender.
  4. Add the pork, pineapple pieces and stir-fry sauce. Stir through until heated through. Serve on pasta or rice, and sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the top.
