Red Velvet Cream Cheese Brownies

Our fudge-licious brownies are even sweeter dotted with rich cream cheese batter and topped with puffy mini marshmallows.

To make this dish at home by prescription from the author sheff would need: 2 1/4 c. dark chocolate chips, 3/4 c. butter, 2 c. sugar, 7 eggs, 1 c. + 2 Tbs. all-purpose flour , 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract, 1 1/2 tsp. red concentrated food coloring, 1 tsp. baking powder , 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 pkg cream cheese at room temp., 1 c. mini marshmallows, Mixed berries.

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 c. dark chocolate chips 
  • 3/4 c. butter 
  • 2 c. sugar 
  • 7 eggs 
  • 1 c. + 2 Tbs. all-purpose flour 
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 
  • 1 1/2 tsp. red concentrated food coloring 
  • 1 tsp. baking powder 
  • 1/4 tsp. salt 
  • 1 pkg cream cheese at room temp. 
  • 1 c. mini marshmallows 
  • Mixed berries 

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line 13"x9" baking pan with foil; coat with cooking spray.
  2. In pot, cook chocolate chips and butter over low heat until melted, stirring.
  3. Remove from heat; stir in 1 1/2 cups sugar, then 6 eggs, 1 cup flour, vanilla, food coloring, baking powder and salt; reserve.
  4. On medium speed, beat cream cheese with remaining sugar, egg, and flour until blended.
  5. Pour half of the batter into pan; dollop half of cream cheese mixture over. Spread remaining mixture bater over; dollop with remaining cream cheese.
  6. Bake 30-35 min. or until toothpick inserted into center comes out with moist crumbs.
  7. Sprinkle marshmallows over. Cool. Cut into squares; top with berries.
