My habit of stopping off at the gas station for my morning cappuchino or to Caribu Coffee when I had money for their cappuchino, come to an abrupt halt when I started my no sugar lifestyle. I felt deprived. One day, I found a way to get around it. I took a cup of coffee in my thermal mug and added 1 NO SUGAR ADDED SWISS MISS HOT COCOA mix to my coffee instead of just plain hot water. I added 1 teaspoon of splenda to sweeten the coffee and voila! I was saved. I love my morning No Sugar cappuchino and filling my thermal mug to take to work empowers me to stay on my eating plan without any regrets. For a nice afternoon "pick-me-up" I drink a cup of coffee with a Sugar Free Russell Stover candy. That warm coffee melting the chocolate in my mouth is euphoric and no sugar gives me no guilt. Russell Stover has many varieties of chocolate candies. They cost about $1.99 for 8 pieces.
- In 12 oz. mug or thermal mug, pour coffee. Add 1 teaspoon sugar and 1 packet of swiss miss. Stir real good until swiss miss is dissolved.
- OPTION: If you want, whip some heavy whipping cream with a teaspoon or 2 of splenda added to it before whipping. Keep it in a container in the fridge and add to your SF cappachino.
