Garlic and herb mushrooms

To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 30g butter, chopped, 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced, 600g mixed mushrooms, sliced, 1/3 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley , 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives, 2 tsp lemon zest .

Ingredients:

  • 30g butter, chopped 
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 
  • 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced 
  • 600g mixed mushrooms, sliced 
  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley 
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives 
  • 2 tsp lemon zest 

Instructions

  1. Heat butter and oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until fragrant.
  2. Add mushrooms. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 4 to 5 minutes or until mushrooms are golden and tender. Add parsley, chives and 1/2 of the lemon zest. Toss gently to combine. Season well with salt and pepper.
  3. Serve mushrooms sprinkled with remaining lemon zest.
