Baked four-cheese gnocchi with walnuts

Warm up with this rich, cheesy gnocchi bake.

To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 300ml thin cream, 60g parmesan, grated, 25g gorgonzola* cheese, 50g shredded mozzarella, 50g Taleggio* cheese , 1 tbsp plain flour, 1 tsp Dijon mustard, 1/4 tsp grated nutmeg , 500g potato gnocchi, 1 egg, beaten, 50g toasted walnuts, 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley, 2 tbsp dried breadcrumbs.
Ingredients:
- 300ml thin cream
- 60g parmesan, grated
- 25g gorgonzola* cheese
- 50g shredded mozzarella
- 50g Taleggio* cheese
- 1 tbsp plain flour
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
- 500g potato gnocchi
- 1 egg, beaten
- 50g toasted walnuts
- 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tbsp dried breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Place the cream and cheeses in a saucepan and stir over low heat for 1-2 minutes until melted. Whisk in the flour, mustard and nutmeg. Season with salt and pepper, then turn off heat.
- Meanwhile, cook gnocchi according to packet instructions.
- Add the egg to the cheese sauce with the walnuts and parsley, stirring to combine. Divide the gnocchi between 4 ovenproof dishes or bowls, pour the sauce over top and sprinkle with the breadcrumbs. Place in the oven for 8-10 minutes until golden.
