To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 225g raw macadamia nuts, 225g raw cashews, 160g natural almonds, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp honey , 2 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp ground cumin, 1/2 tsp chilli powder , 1/2 tsp sweet paprika.

Ingredients:

  • 225g raw macadamia nuts 
  • 225g raw cashews 
  • 160g natural almonds 
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce 
  • 1 tbsp honey 
  • 2 tsp sesame oil 
  • 1 tsp ground cumin 
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder 
  • 1/2 tsp sweet paprika 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Place the combined nuts on a large baking tray. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, cumin, chilli powder and paprika in a large bowl.
  3. Add the warm nuts to the soy sauce mixture. Stir to coat. Spread the nut mixture over the baking tray. Bake in oven for 3-5 minutes or until dry to touch. Set aside on the tray to cool completely. Transfer to serving bowls and serve.
