To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 2 slices bread, 5g butter, softened, 1/4 avocado, 2 tbsp cottage cheese, 2 tsp sliced green jalapeno, finely chopped , 15g baby spinach leaves, 1 slice cheddar .

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices bread 
  • 5g butter, softened 
  • 1/4 avocado 
  • 2 tbsp cottage cheese 
  • 2 tsp sliced green jalapeno, finely chopped 
  • 15g baby spinach leaves 
  • 1 slice cheddar 

Instructions

  1. Spread bread with butter. Place 1 slice, butter-side down, on a sandwich press. Coarsely mash avocado over bread. Top with cottage cheese, jalapeno, spinach and sliced cheese. Season with pepper.
  2. Finish with remaining bread slice, butter-side up. Bring down sandwich press lid and cook for 2-3 minutes or until toasted. Cut to serve.
