Miniature cabbage with mustard & dill sauce

Lightly cooked in butter, miniature cabbage sings in this creamy mustard sauce.

To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 20g butter, 2 tsp olive oil, 1 miniature cabbage, cut into 8 wedges, 1 garlic clove, crushed, 80ml dry white wine , 250ml pouring cream, 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard, 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill , Fresh dill sprigs, to serve.

Ingredients:

  • 20g butter 
  • 2 tsp olive oil 
  • 1 miniature cabbage, cut into 8 wedges 
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed 
  • 80ml dry white wine 
  • 250ml pouring cream 
  • 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard 
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill 
  • Fresh dill sprigs, to serve 

Instructions

  1. Heat the butter and oil in a large frying pan over medium heat until the butter melts. Cook the cabbage for 4-5 minutes each side or until golden and tender. Transfer to a serving dish and cover with foil.
  2. Add the garlic to the pan. Cook, stirring, for 30 seconds or until aromatic. Add the wine and cook for 30 seconds or until reduced slightly. Add the cream and mustard and stir to combine. Cook for
  3. minutes or until the sauce thickens slightly. Stir in the dill. Season with salt and pepper. Drizzle the cabbage with sauce and top with dill sprigs.
