To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 1/4 small red cabbage, 1/4 small green cabbage, 1 large carrot, peeled, cut into thin ribbons, 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced, 1/4 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves , 1/4 cup whole-egg mayonnaise, 1 tbsp lemon juice .

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 small red cabbage 
  • 1/4 small green cabbage 
  • 1 large carrot, peeled, cut into thin ribbons 
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced 
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves 
  • 1/4 cup whole-egg mayonnaise 
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice 

Instructions

  1. Cut cabbage leaves into 3cm pieces. Cut carrot ribbons into thirds crossways. Combine cabbage, carrot, onion and parsley in a bowl.
  2. Place mayonnaise and lemon juice in a bowl. Stir until smooth. Pour over cabbage mixture. Toss to combine. Serve.
