To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 1kg small chat potatoes, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1/2 small red onion, halved, thinly sliced, 1/4 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves, 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives , 1 garlic clove, crushed, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tsp wholegrain mustard .

Ingredients:

  • 1kg small chat potatoes 
  • 2 tbsp olive oil 
  • 1/2 small red onion, halved, thinly sliced 
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves 
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives 
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed 
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice 
  • 2 tsp wholegrain mustard 

Instructions

  1. Preheat barbecue plate on high. Cook potatoes in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water for 8 minutes or until just tender. Drain. Return to pan. Add oil. Toss to coat.
  2. Place potatoes on barbecue. Press each potato gently with a potato masher to flatten slightly. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes each side or until browned and cooked through. Transfer to a bowl. Add onion, parsley, chives, garlic, lemon juice and mustard. Toss gently to combine. Serve.
