To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 2 x 22cm wholemeal baguette breads, halved lengthways, 1/4 cup wholegrain mustard, 8 slices rare roast beef, 2 medium tomatoes, sliced, 2 tbsp sliced black olives , 2 tbsp sliced pickled jalapeno chillies, 3 slices tasty cheese, halved, 2 iceberg lettuce leaves, shredded , 1 small carrot, peeled, grated, 1/2 small green capsicum, thinly sliced, 1 Lebanese cucumber, cut into ribbons.
Ingredients:
- 2 x 22cm wholemeal baguette breads, halved lengthways
- 1/4 cup wholegrain mustard
- 8 slices rare roast beef
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
- 2 tbsp sliced black olives
- 2 tbsp sliced pickled jalapeno chillies
- 3 slices tasty cheese, halved
- 2 iceberg lettuce leaves, shredded
- 1 small carrot, peeled, grated
- 1/2 small green capsicum, thinly sliced
- 1 Lebanese cucumber, cut into ribbons
Instructions
- Spread mustard over bread bases. Top bases with beef, tomato, olives, chillies, cheese, lettuce, carrot, capsicum, and cucumber. Sandwich with tops. Cut in half crossways. Serve.
