To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 3 baby cos lettuce, leaves separated, washed, dried, 4 yellow witlof, bases trimmed, leaves separated, 4 red witlof, bases trimmed, leaves separated, 85g sour cream, 2 tsp finely grated lemon rind , 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice, 2 tbsp olive oil, Salt & freshly ground black pepper .

Ingredients:

  • 3 baby cos lettuce, leaves separated, washed, dried 
  • 4 yellow witlof, bases trimmed, leaves separated 
  • 4 red witlof, bases trimmed, leaves separated 
  • 85g sour cream 
  • 2 tsp finely grated lemon rind 
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice 
  • 2 tbsp olive oil 
  • Salt & freshly ground black pepper 

Instructions

  1. Place the cos and witlof leaves in a large bowl and gently toss to combine.
  2. Combine the sour cream, lemon rind and juice, and oil in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Drizzle salad with dressing and serve immediately.
