Buried bones

Get the kids doing some archaeology as they dig for sweet buried treasure.
Recipe «Buried bones» presented in category Recipes / Appetiziers, to prepare this dish you will need no more 40 minutes. To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 2 egg whites, 1/2 cup caster sugar, 1/4 tsp cream of tartar, 3 x 150g packets chocolate sprinkles .
Ingredients:
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- 3 x 150g packets chocolate sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 140°C/120°C fan-forced. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
- Using an electric mixer, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, until firm glossy peaks form. Beat in cream of tartar. Spoon mixture into a large snap-lock bag. Snip off 1 corner. Pipe bone shapes onto prepared trays. Bake for 40 minutes or until dry. Cool on trays.
- Place one-third of the bones in a 24cm x 30cm swiss roll pan. Completely cover with chocolate sprinkles. Serve (see note). Add more bones as necessary.
