To make this dish at home by prescription from the author sheff would need: 3 tsp olive oil, 400g Coles beef rump steak, trimmed, thinly sliced, 3 shallots, thinly sliced, 1 bunch Chinese broccoli, stems and leaves separated, 160g Kantong Inspirations Teriyaki Sesame , 1/2 cup unsalted cashews, toasted, 190g dried thin Chinese egg noodles .

Ingredients:

  • 3 tsp olive oil 
  • 400g Coles beef rump steak, trimmed, thinly sliced 
  • 3 shallots, thinly sliced 
  • 1 bunch Chinese broccoli, stems and leaves separated 
  • 160g Kantong Inspirations Teriyaki Sesame 
  • 1/2 cup unsalted cashews, toasted 
  • 190g dried thin Chinese egg noodles 

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 teaspoon of the oil in a wok or large deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Add half the beef and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Transfer to a plate. Repeat with half the remaining oil and the remaining beef.
  2. Heat the remaining oil in the wok. Stir-fry the shallot and broccoli stems for 1 minute. Add the broccoli leaves, sauce, cashews and beef. Stir-fry for 1 minute or until the leaves are just tender and the sauce is heated through. Season with pepper.
  3. Meanwhile, cook the noodles following packet directions. Drain.
  4. Shape the noodles into 4 nests and divide among serving plates. Divide the stir-fry among the plates.
