To make this dish at home by prescription from the author sheff would need: 2 tbsp vegetable oil, 4 eggs, 1 small red onion, halved, thinly sliced, 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced, 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger , 2-4 tsp Galiko crushed chilli, Salt, 2 tbsp vegetable oil , 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced, 600g broccoli, trimmed into florets, 1/3 cup Maggi oyster sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil 
  • 4 eggs 
  • 1 small red onion, halved, thinly sliced 
  • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced 
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger 
  • 2-4 tsp Galiko crushed chilli 
  • Salt 
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil 
  • 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced 
  • 600g broccoli, trimmed into florets 
  • 1/3 cup Maggi oyster sauce 

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large non-stick frying pan over a medium-high heat. Add eggs, cook for 2 minutes each side or until just golden brown. Transfer to a plate.
  2. Add onion, garlic and ginger to the pan, cook for 5 minutes or until soft. Add chilli and 2 tablespoons water, cook 2 minutes. Season with salt. Return eggs to pan to warm through.
  3. For the garlic broccoli, heat oil in a wok over a high heat. Cook garlic for 1 minute, add broccoli and stir-fry for 5 minutes or until just tender. Add oyster sauce and 2 tablespoons water, toss until warmed through.
