To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 3 ripe mangoes, peeled, chopped, 1 1/2 cups natural yoghurt, 1 1/2 cups milk, 1/3 cup caster sugar, 15g peeled ginger, finely chopped , 1/4 tsp ground cardamom, 1/4 tsp salt, 2 cups ice cubes , 6 mint sprigs, to serve.
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe mangoes, peeled, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups natural yoghurt
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/3 cup caster sugar
- 15g peeled ginger, finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups ice cubes
- 6 mint sprigs, to serve
Instructions
- Combine mango, yoghurt, milk, sugar, ginger, cardamom and salt in a medium bowl and stir to combine. Place half the mango mixture in the jug of a blender and blend until smooth. Add half the ice and blend until finely crushed. Pour among 3 serving glasses. Repeat with remaining mango mixture and ice. Garnish with mint sprigs to serve.
