To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 2 lemon and ginger herbal infusion tea bags, 1 ceylon tea bag, 2 cups boiling water, 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar, 2 cups soda water, chilled , 2 x 300ml bottles dry ginger ale, chilled, 1 stick lemongrass, trimmed, halved, 2 limes, sliced , 2 tbsp torn fresh mint leaves, 2 cups ice cubes, crushed.
Ingredients:
- 2 lemon and ginger herbal infusion tea bags
- 1 ceylon tea bag
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cups soda water, chilled
- 2 x 300ml bottles dry ginger ale, chilled
- 1 stick lemongrass, trimmed, halved
- 2 limes, sliced
- 2 tbsp torn fresh mint leaves
- 2 cups ice cubes, crushed
Instructions
- Place tea bags in a heatproof jug. Add boiling water. Set aside for 5 minutes to allow flavours to develop. Discard tea bags. Stir in sugar. Cool completely.
- Transfer tea to a large serving jug. Add soda water, ginger ale, lemongrass, lime and mint leaves. Stir gently to combine. Top with crushed ice. Serve.
