- 250g caster sugar
- 200ml whisky
- Lightly whipped cream, to serve
Instructions
- Place the sugar in a saucepan with 1 cup (250ml) cold water and stir over a low heat for 2-3 minutes until the sugar dissolves. Increase heat to medium and simmer, without stirring, for 5 minutes. Allow to cool. Put 200ml of the syrup into a saucepan with whisky and heat gently for 2 minutes. Cool slightly, then pour into 6 heatproof glasses. Top each with a tablespoon of cream. Serve immediately.
