Ingredients:
- 1-2 cardamom pods
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 250ml milk
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp Indian tea leaves such as Darjeeling or Assam
Instructions
- Lightly bruise the spices in a mortar and pestle.
- Transfer to a pan, add 250ml (1 cup) cold water, milk and sugar.
- Cook over low heat for 2 minutes. Add tea and simmer for 1 minute. Strain and serve.
