To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 2 green, jasmine and pear tea bags, 2 cups boiling water, 1 small cinnamon stick, 2 strips orange rind, 2 tsp honey , 1 pink lady apple, quartered, cored, cut into thin wedges, 3 cups lemonade, chilled, 1 cup ice cubes .

Ingredients:

  • 2 green, jasmine and pear tea bags 
  • 2 cups boiling water 
  • 1 small cinnamon stick 
  • 2 strips orange rind 
  • 2 tsp honey 
  • 1 pink lady apple, quartered, cored, cut into thin wedges 
  • 3 cups lemonade, chilled 
  • 1 cup ice cubes 

Instructions

  1. Place tea bags in a heatproof jug. Add boiling water, cinnamon and orange rind. Set aside for 5 minutes to allow flavours to develop. Discard tea bags. Stir in honey. Cool completely.
  2. Transfer tea to a large serving jug. Add apple, lemonade and ice cubes. Serve.
