Heres a tea-licious way to wind down, sip back and take it easy!

To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 3 English breakfast tea bags, 4 cups boiling water, 1 cup apple and pineapple juice, 2 tbsp caster sugar, 1/4 pineapple, peeled, cored, cut into wedges, thinly sliced , 1/2 granny smith apple, unpeeled, cut into wedges, thinly sliced, Small fresh mint sprigs and ice cubes, to serve .

Ingredients:

  • 3 English breakfast tea bags 
  • 4 cups boiling water 
  • 1 cup apple and pineapple juice 
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar 
  • 1/4 pineapple, peeled, cored, cut into wedges, thinly sliced 
  • 1/2 granny smith apple, unpeeled, cut into wedges, thinly sliced 
  • Small fresh mint sprigs and ice cubes, to serve 

Instructions

  1. Place tea bags in a heatproof jug. Add boiling water. Stand for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags. Cool.
  2. Stir in juice and sugar until sugar has dissolved. Add pineapple and apple. Place ice cubes into 4 glasses. Top with tea mixture. Serve with mint.
