Celebrate summer in Australian with this sparkling sangria.

To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 125g punnet raspberries, 100g strawberries, thinly sliced, 1 orange, thinly sliced, 1 cinnamon stick, 1/4 cup Cointreau, or orange liqueur , 2 tbsp caster sugar, 750ml rose wine, chilled, 2 cups lemonade, chilled , Crushed ice, to serve.

Ingredients:

  • 125g punnet raspberries 
  • 100g strawberries, thinly sliced 
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced 
  • 1 cinnamon stick 
  • 1/4 cup Cointreau, or orange liqueur 
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar 
  • 750ml rose wine, chilled 
  • 2 cups lemonade, chilled 
  • Crushed ice, to serve 

Instructions

  1. Combine raspberries, strawberries, orange, cinnamon, Cointreau or orange liqueur and caster sugar in a large jug. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 30 minutes to develop the flavours.
  2. Add chilled rosé wine and lemonade. Remove and discard cinnamon stick. Add crushed ice and serve immediately.
