Smoked ocean trout and dill pasta

Just a few simple ingredients are needed to create this healthy, lower GI pasta dish.

To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 1 x 250g pkt dried tagliatelle, 2 x 150g pkts smoked ocean trout , roughly flaked, 40g baby rocket leaves, 2 tbsp fresh dill tips, 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice , 2 tsp olive oil, Freshly ground black pepper .

Ingredients:

  • 1 x 250g pkt dried tagliatelle 
  • 2 x 150g pkts smoked ocean trout , roughly flaked 
  • 40g baby rocket leaves 
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill tips 
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice 
  • 2 tsp olive oil 
  • Freshly ground black pepper 

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a saucepan of boiling water following packet directions or until al dente. Drain. Return to the pan.
  2. Add the trout, rocket, dill, lemon juice and oil to the pasta and gently toss until combined. Season with pepper. Divide among bowls and serve immediately.
