Ingredients:
- 8 Coles Australian Pork Sausages
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 red onion, cut into thick wedges
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup sage leaves
- Mashed potato, to serve
- Steamed greens, to serve
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook the sausages, turning, for 7-8 mins or until browned all over and cooked through.
- Add the onion to the pan and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 mins or until onion just softens. Stir in the garlic, maple syrup and sage. Bring to a simmer. Simmer, uncovered, for 3 mins or until syrup thickens and coats the sausages.
- Divide the mashed potato and steamed greens among serving plates. Top with the sausage mixture to serve.
