To make this dish at home by prescription from the author sheff would need: 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1/4 tsp chilli flakes, 2 tsp smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, 1/2 cup olive oil , 8 Coles Australian pork sirloin steaks, 2 x 400g Coles Australian baby potatoes with butter and parsley, 3 middle bacon rashers, coarsely chopped , 3 spring onions, thinly sliced, 1/4 cup ranch dressing, Steamed green beans, to serve.
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp chilli flakes
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 8 Coles Australian pork sirloin steaks
- 2 x 400g Coles Australian baby potatoes with butter and parsley
- 3 middle bacon rashers, coarsely chopped
- 3 spring onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing
- Steamed green beans, to serve
Instructions
- Combine sugar, chilli, smoked paprika, cinnamon and oil in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Place pork in a large glass or ceramic dish. Pour over the marinade and toss to coat. Set aside for 10 mins.
- Meanwhile, cook potatoes as per packet instructions. Cool for 10 mins. Halve potatoes.
- Meanwhile, Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Cook bacon for 5 mins or until browned and crisp. Add onion and cook for 1-2 mins. Remove from heat. Place potatoes in a large bowl. Add bacon mixture and Ranch dressing. Season with salt and pepper. Toss to combine.
- Heat a barbecue or chargrill over medium heat. Cook steaks in batches for 3 mins each side or until cooked to your liking. Serve steaks with potato salad and steamed green beans.
