To make this dish at home by prescription from the author Gomer would need: 400g spaghetti, 500g pkt Coles broccoli, florets frozen, 250ml Philadelphia light cream for cooking, 200g smoked salmon, chopped, 2 tsp lemon zest, finely grated , 2 tsp Coles baby capers, 1 tbsp dill, chopped, plus extra sprigs, to serve .

Ingredients:

  • 400g spaghetti 
  • 500g pkt Coles broccoli, florets frozen 
  • 250ml Philadelphia light cream for cooking 
  • 200g smoked salmon, chopped 
  • 2 tsp lemon zest, finely grated 
  • 2 tsp Coles baby capers 
  • 1 tbsp dill, chopped, plus extra sprigs, to serve 

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti, according to packet directions, in a large pan of boiling, salted water.
  2. When pasta is almost al dente, add broccoli. Cover and return to the boil, then uncover and cook a further 2 mins, or until pasta is ready.
  3. Drain and return to the pan. Add cream, salmon, lemon zest, capers and dill. Toss to combine and heat through. Season to taste, top with extra dill sprigs and serve immediately.
