  1. In pot over medium heat, prepare soup with milk according to can instructions. Stir in Cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  2. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and pepper until blended; heat through. 
  3. Divide soup among 6 bowls and serve garnished with sliced ham, chopped chives and carrot strips.
